The Bauen Camp is located in the coulees and foothills of the Big Horn Mountains in north-central Wyoming. It comprises seventy acres of rolling hayfields, intermittent creek, a pond, aspen and cottonwood trees, a pole barn and deck for camp programs, log and screened sleeping cabins with built-in bunk beds, a bathhouse with hot water, a log home for social events and library reading, a beautiful andfunctional new commercial camp kitchen, a large tent for meals, and four resident dogs.
We are two hours south of Billings, MT, and forty-five minutes northwest of Sheridan, WY, just four miles from the Montana border and the canyon of the Little Big Horn River. Working cattle ranches are directly adjacent to the Camp on the west, north, and east. The adjacent Kerns Wildlife Habitat, operated by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, and the Big Horn National Forest with Cloud Peak, 13,125', are directly south of the Camp.
