Transportation

Campers and staff arrive and depart by car, bus and plane. Bauen Camp volunteers meet and deliver to all planes and buses. Billings, Montana is the closest international airport. It is two hours driving time from the Billings airport to The Bauen Camp.

Sheridan, Wyoming is the closest airport to the Camp. It is 45 minutes driving time from the Sheridan airport to The Bauen Camp. The Sheridan airport is small and provides only United Express/Great Lakes Airline service between Sheridan and Denver, CO. If you select a national or international flight into Denver, you can get a local connecting flight to Sheridan. Sheridan also provides a bus connection to Denver through Greyhound/Powder River Bus Company.

Please notify the Camp Director of your travel plans. Campers are expected to arrive between 4 and 6 p.m. on arrival days, while departure of campers is between 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. on departure days. Please do not arrive before or after scheduled arrival and departure times unless it is an emergency or unless public transportation schedules conflict. The staff will be in meetings and preparing for your arrival prior to scheduled arrival times and the staff will be conducting introductory programs for all campers after the scheduled arrival times.
